We're partnering with a leading global bank seeking a VP-level AI Engineer to help build and scale next-generation AI systems supporting enterprise risk and decision-making platforms.
This is a hands-on engineering role focused on designing, building, and deploying production-grade AI applications at scale. You'll work closely with engineering, quantitative, and business stakeholders to develop AI-driven systems that support forecasting, analytics, monitoring, and operational decision-making.
Responsibilities
Design and deploy production AI and machine learning systems
Build LLM-powered applications, agentic workflows, and decision-support tools
Develop scalable AI pipelines across training, deployment, monitoring, and observability
Partner with stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions
Drive architecture and engineering best practices across AI platforms
Mentor engineers and contribute to technical design discussions
Requirements
5+ full-time years of software or AI engineering experience
Degree in CS, AI, ML, or related field
Strong Python development experience
Experience building and deploying production AI/LLM applications
Experience with agentic AI frameworks, RAG architectures, or AI orchestration platforms
AWS experience, including modern GenAI tooling
Background building distributed systems and cloud-native applications
Strong systems design and software engineering fundamentals
