Description -
We're seeking an executive leader for our Strategic Alliances team. The role is accountable for the global partnership between HP and one of our Alliance partners, the attainment of current and long-range objectives, and for direct and indirect influence of multiple business units within the broader organization. This leader also partners heavily with an extended internal HP team comprised of Global Business Units, Category, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain Operations, and Legal to achieve goals.
This role reports directly to the SVP and Global Head of HP Strategic Alliances, and has accountability to the President of Personal Systems, and CEO of HP, Inc.

Strategic orientation: as evidenced by a track record of having successfully driven growth for a significantly sized, product-oriented business. Demonstrated ability to understand the fundamental drivers of a business and an industry at an operational level, anticipating change and seeing competitive opportunities. Candidates must clearly have strength in framing strategic alternatives, identifying and filling data gaps and crisply driving decision-making processes in developing the future strategic direction.
Results orientation: as evidenced by a track record of delivering profitable growth in relevant businesses. The individual must be a highly driven, results-oriented operational leader who quickly takes control and develops organizations to new, sustained levels with persistence in the face of obstacles. They will have the ability and determination to move a portfolio of operational initiatives forward, using performance metrics, new technologies, and benchmarks to track progress. They must have a track record of driving organic revenue growth through new and existing customers, commercial and consumer.
Superb team and change leadership skills: as evidenced by a track record of building, mentoring and motivating high performance distributed teams. This individual must demonstrate outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership development strengths. In doing so, they must cite examples of having inspired and motivated an organization to achieve stretch goals and of having established open, respectful, collaborative and accountable organizational cultures. This individual will also have a strong leadership reputation as a team builder and talent magnet. Experience with driving employee engagement scores is an important metric.
Influencing and relationship development skills: as evidenced by an ability to influence and work closely with a variety of constituencies, both internal and external. They must be able to communicate and effectively interface with customers, investors, employees and partners. The ideal candidate must be a clear, open and effective communicator with superb facilitation and conflict resolution skills and a proven ability to lead executive-level individuals through decision-making processes. A track record of outstanding judgement and impeccable integrity is a requirement for the role.
Financial acumen: Leading the business like an "owner". Analyzing and structuring financial models to drive revenue through joint solutions. The ability to understand both income statements and balance sheet metrics to monitor business progress is required.
Executive cadence and communications skills: ability to lead fast-paced, high impact discussions with the Presidents and CEO of HP and their peers at the Alliance partner company.
Educational and Managerial Requirements:
The pay range for this role is $266,000 - $318,000 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
