Job Description
- Manage full branch operations with accountability for administrative, compliance, sales, service, and profitability goals
- Develop and execute business development strategies to grow deposits, loans, and overall client relationships
- Lead client acquisition efforts through regular business development calls and community engagement
- Oversee branch staff performance, training, coaching, and adherence to service standards
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality customer service and resolution of client issues
- Set annual and weekly sales targets for the branch and monitor performance against goals
- Partner with marketing teams to develop and execute sales campaigns and initiatives
- Conduct regular sales and service meetings to review performance and drive improvement
- Ensure full compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain strong audit readiness and ensure satisfactory branch audit outcomes
- Manage branch budget, including income monitoring and expense control
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and represent the bank in the local community
- Oversee lending activities including loan approvals, overdrafts, and related credit decisions within authority limits
- Address HR matters including staffing, performance management, training, and employee relations
- Hire, train, and manage staff in coordination with senior management and HR
- Approve financial transactions such as checks, withdrawals, fee reversals, and related items within delegated authority
- Sign official banking documents and provide signature guarantees as required
- Resolve client complaints and operational issues in a timely and effective manner
