This role is responsible for developing, expanding, and optimizing relationships with equipment finance brokers who originate both equipment-based transactions and short-term working capital loans.

This is a high-ownership, build-from-scratch opportunity. The role begins as a hands-on individual contributor with the potential to evolve into a broader channel leadership position. The focus is on driving new originations through broker partnerships and establishing a scalable go-to-market strategy within the equipment finance ecosystem.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and grow relationships with equipment finance brokers to drive origination volume.
  • Build and execute a go-to-market strategy for a broker-driven lending channel.
  • Originate and support both working capital loans and equipment finance transactions through broker partners.
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for broker partners, including onboarding, training, and ongoing engagement.
  • Increase partner production through structured outreach, relationship management, and performance optimization.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and broker network gatherings.
  • Collaborate with credit, risk, product, and operations teams to support underwriting and program development.
  • Define and track partner performance metrics, pipeline activity, and production results.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with partners to improve engagement and volume.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams on product positioning, pricing, and market trends.
  • Identify, evaluate, and activate new broker relationships aligned with risk and growth objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 8+ years of experience in equipment finance, broker channel development, commercial finance, or related financial services.
  • Established network within the equipment finance broker community strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of originating transactions through broker or wholesale channels.
  • Strong understanding of equipment finance structures, credit fundamentals, and short-term business lending products.
  • Experience working with both equipment-based lending and working capital solutions is highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage relationships across a high-volume partner ecosystem.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for partner meetings and industry events.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and scale a new channel.

COMPENSATION AND WORK ARRANGEMENT
  • Base salary: $125, 000 $175, 000
  • Performance-based incentive compensation: $250, 000 $400, 000+ depending on production levels
