Responsibilities:The Chief Claims Officer (CCO) serves as the highest level of Claims leadership in the Operating Unit (OU) and is responsible for Claims strategy, operations, compliance, customer service, and overall management of loss costs. The CCO serves as a member and key contributor on the OU’s Executive Committee and Senior Leadership Team (SLT), working above and beyond the Claims functional area as a co-leader of the OU in general. The CCO is also responsible for all aspects of people management, engagement, and performance of the Claims staff. The CCO leads innovation in both the Claims function and beyond.

Commercial and underwriting acumen: Understands how product, appetite, distribution, claims, expense, and price interact to create sustainable returns.

The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
