Key responsibilities include:
o Set and execute a unified clinical and operational strategy across all four Clinical Lines of Business, aligned with Summa Health's IHS vision and enterprise priorities.
o Lead appropriate IHS operational meetings as the integrating executive - translating enterprise strategy into line-level priorities and ensuring cross-line alignment.
o Drive consumer-focused transformation, including access strategy, referral pathway design, digital navigation, and always-on engagement across care settings.
o Oversee the development and refinement of evidence-based pathways, care models, and low-cost/high-quality programs that advance population health outcomes.
o Champion technology enablement - remote monitoring, clinical decision support, digital care redesign, and innovation partnerships - to advance outcomes and experience.
o Optimize site-of-care decisions, access/capacity management, scheduling efficiency, and transitions across inpatient, ambulatory, and post-acute environments.
o Lead, develop, and support four Medical Director / Administrative Head dyads - building a high-performing, accountable leadership team across the portfolio.
o Shape physician leadership structures within each line as the IHS model matures, ensuring clear reporting lines for all employed providers.
o Represent the lines of business in executive and enterprise forums, including the IHS-Acute interface.
o Hold executive accountability for operating and capital budget performance, growth strategies, and efficient resource utilization.
