A well-established rural community bank serving  the Terre Haute area is seeking an experienced Agricultural / Commercial Lender to join its lending team. This is an excellent opportunity for a relationship-focused lender who enjoys working directly with customers, developing business, and making an impact within a true community bank.

This is not a ground up, start up lending position. Instead, you’ll have the opportunity to step into an established role with an existing portfolio while continuing to grow your own relationships throughout the market.

Responsibilities

• ·         Develop and manage Agricultural and Commercial lending relationships.
• ·         Grow an existing portfolio while generating new business opportunities.
• ·         Meet with business owners and agricultural producers to understand their financing needs.
• ·         Structure, underwrite, and present commercial and agricultural loan requests.
• ·         Perform your own credit analysis and financial underwriting.
• ·         Maintain strong relationships through exceptional customer service and community involvement.
• ·         Ensure lending activities comply with bank policies and regulatory requirements.Qualifications
• ·         Experience in Agricultural and Commercial lending within a community bank.
• ·         Ability to independently analyze financial statements and complete credit underwriting.
• ·         Strong business development and relationship management skills.
• ·         Knowledge of commercial loan structure, documentation, and the closing process.
• ·         Self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
