Responsibilities:
The Vice President, Financial Planning and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Enterprise Services is a key member of the finance leadership team, responsible for overseeing the system's financial planning functions—specifically rolling forecasting, long-range financial planning, decision support/cost accounting, and related analysis. The position also serves as the primary financial advisor to Enterprise Services, also known as Shared Services.
 
This role provides strategic and operational leadership to support sound decision-making, financial sustainability, and alignment with CHS's mission and enterprise goals. The Vice President will lead high-impact initiatives, drive cross-functional collaboration, and cultivate a high-performing team to ensure the organization is well-positioned for long-term financial health and physician alignment.
 
Qualifications:
Education
o Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required
o Master's Degree (MBA, MHA, or equivalent) preferred
 
Experience
o Significant progressive experience in finance within a large healthcare or complex organization, with at least 5 years in a senior or executive leadership role, required
o Proven success leading enterprise-level financial planning and analysis functions required
o Strong track record of managing complex teams, fostering alignment across functions, and delivering results in dynamic healthcare environments required
 
Licenses and Certifications
o Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
o Relevant finance, accounting, or healthcare financial leadership certifications preferred
