Base Salary: $150k $190k + Bonus

ABOUT THE ROLE

This Vice President opportunity sits within the Corporate and Structured Credit Risk team of a leading global financial institution, focused on credit risk coverage of infrastructure and power transactions across a diverse range of asset classes including Solar, Wind, BESS, CCGT, Data Centers, Fiber, and LNG at various stages of development, construction, and operation. The role carries genuine deal management responsibility completing due diligence, managing a portfolio of credits, and presenting independent credit views directly to the CRO, CFO, and CCO. It's an ideal fit for a seasoned project finance credit professional with renewable power and infrastructure experience who is comfortable leading complex, multi-stakeholder transactions in a fast-paced second-line environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Analyze credit risks associated with infrastructure and power sector transactions across multiple asset types including power and energy, transportation, and digital infrastructure;renewable power project finance experience strongly preferred
  • Complete due diligence on projects including interaction with technical, environmental, insurance, tax, and market consultants;lead and manage multiple deals simultaneously across various stages of development, construction, and operation
  • Identify risks affecting infrastructure and power finance credits;analyze recurring EBITDA, credit statistics, and projected financials to form and defend an independent credit view
  • Perform comprehensive financial analysis including assessment of debt capacity, financial metrics, and project-level risks across infrastructure and power borrowers
  • Present credit views and transaction recommendations directly to the CRO, CFO, CCO, and other senior firm leadership
  • Establish and manage credit risk limits for corporate derivative transactions in accordance with the firm's risk tolerance
  • Negotiate ISDA terms in close coordination with legal counsel
  • Apply fundamental credit analysis and analytical tools to develop risk rating recommendations across the infrastructure and power portfolio
  • Manage a portfolio of counterparties ensuring timely completion of semi-annual and annual credit reviews and global/regional portfolio reviews
  • Work closely with front office deal teams, Market Risk, Legal, Finance, and other internal groups across complex, multi-workstream engagements
