Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Global IT Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and execute a global IT strategy spanning AI security, enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, and service management to support business growth, resilience, and digital transformation.
  • Partner with executive leadership, operations, supply chain, and engineering teams to align technology investments with enterprise priorities.
  • Build and lead a high-performing global IT organization across infrastructure, cloud operations, cyber security, AI security, enterprise platforms, and IT service management.
  • Establish enterprise standards, governance models, and roadmaps for infrastructure architecture, cloud adoption, service delivery, cyber security, and software asset and license management.

Infrastructure, Cloud & Platform Operations

  • Oversee global infrastructure services, including networks, compute, storage, end-user computing, collaboration platforms, and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Lead modernization of on-premises and cloud-based compute environments, ensuring scalability, resilience, performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Drive platform engineering, automation, monitoring, and observability practices to improve uptime, speed of delivery, and operational consistency.
  • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery readiness, and business continuity for critical infrastructure and cloud services worldwide.

Cyber Security & Risk Management

  • Lead the company’s global cyber security and AI security program, including strategy, architecture, governance, threat management, and incident response.
  • Protect enterprise environments from cyber threats, including ransomware, third-party risk, cloud misconfiguration, data exposure, and risks introduced by AI tools and models.
  • Oversee identity and access management, network security, endpoint protection, data security, cloud security, AI governance, and zero trust architecture.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOX, GDPR, industry-specific requirements).
  • Lead cyber incident response planning, tabletop exercises, and executive communications.

IT Service Management & Enterprise Operations

  • Ensure reliable, scalable, and secure global IT operations across infrastructure, cloud services, workplace technology, and enterprise platforms.
  • Establish and mature IT service management capabilities, including incident, problem, change, request, asset, and configuration management, with clear SLAs, KPIs, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Optimize sourcing strategies, vendor relationships, managed service partnerships, and enterprise software licensing to maximize value, compliance, and cost efficiency.
  • Drive cost-effective technology operations through service optimization, cloud consumption governance, and proactive software asset and license management.

Digital Transformation & Innovation

  • Champion innovation through modern infrastructure, cloud platforms, AI enablement, automation, and secure adoption of emerging technologies.
  • Enable data-driven decision-making across manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and commercial functions.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies for business value, operational efficiency, and competitive advantage.

Governance, Financial Management & Compliance

  • Manage IT operating and capital budgets, including infrastructure investments, cloud spend, cyber security funding, and enterprise software licensing.
  • Establish strong governance for project delivery, architecture decisions, and risk management.
  • Ensure audit readiness and compliance across global operations.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including enterprise-scale environments.
  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise infrastructure, cloud operations, and service delivery in complex, global environments.
  • Proven leadership of cyber security and AI security programs, including identity, data, cloud, and governance controls.
  • Strong executive presence with experience influencing senior leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Experience leading global, multi-functional teams across regions and cultures.

Preferred

  • Master’s degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent).
  • Cyber security or technology certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, ITIL, TOGAF).
  • Experience with hybrid cloud ecosystems, infrastructure modernization, enterprise service management platforms, and software asset or license management programs.
  • Prior responsibility for M&A systems integration or global transformation programs.

Compensation:

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $240,000 - $280,000 + bonus + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. At Novolex, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
