VP of Accounting - AllSouth FCU - Cornerstone Resources - Columbia, SC

POSITION DETAIL

With $1.5 billion in assets, located in Columbia, South Carolina, AllSouth Federal Credit Union is currently recruiting for an accounting professional to serve as their Vice President of Accounting.  Reporting directly to the CFO, this individual will be responsible for leading the day-to-day accounting operation to include general accounting, financial reporting, month-end closing, coordinating audits, and assisting in the budgeting process.  Additionally, this individual will lead the development of the accounting team through coaching and mentoring.  The successful candidate will be willing to expand their knowledge base into asset liability management and the management of investments.  The ideal candidate will have five plus years of experience leading the accounting department, strong financial analysis experience, and have the skills to be a proactive problem solver with limited direction.  Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
