    Role Overview

    Title: Vice President of Accounting - Power and Infrastructure

    Location: Greenville, SC

    We have partnered with a family-owned, power and infrastructure investment firm in Greenville, SC. The team has created a new role looking for a high-impact leadership candidate reporting to the CIO. They will be responsible for leading accounting and tax strategy across a complex portfolio of power, renewable energy, and infrastructure investments. This role sits at the intersection of deal execution, financial reporting, and investment performance.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead accounting on deals: Evaluate and structure investments, including tax equity and partnership arrangements
    • Own financial oversight: Ensure accurate, GAAP-compliant reporting across a diverse portfolio
    • Partner cross-functionally: Act as the key link between investment, tax, accounting, and external advisors
    • Drive performance insights: Monitor cash flow, returns, and key metrics against underwriting assumptions
    • Support strategic activity: Lead diligence, integration, forecasting, and portfolio-level analysis

    Qualifications

    • CPA with 8+ years of experience
    • Strong background in energy, infrastructure, or complex investment structures
    • Deep expertise in GAAP, partnership accounting, and tax equity
    • Advanced Excel skills; strong financial analysis capabilities
    • Ability to operate as a thought partner to investment teams, not just a technical accountant
