VP of Accounting

CFS is seeking a strategic and hands-on VP of Accounting with real estate experience to lead the accounting function.


Job Description



  • The VP of Accounting will oversee all accounting operations, including financial reporting and close processes

  • This VP of Accounting will manage a team and ensure accurate reporting across a real estate portfolio

  • Lead property-level accounting, consolidations, and reporting as a key VP of Accounting

  • Partner with executive leadership to support planning and business strategy

  • Improve internal controls, systems, and financial reporting processes

  • This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced VP of Accounting


Job Requirements



  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)

  • 10+ years of accounting experience with real estate focus

  • Strong understanding of property accounting and reporting

  • Experience managing teams and leading accounting operations

  • Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls

  • Ability to drive process improvements and system enhancements
