A growing alternative investment manager is seeking a Vice President of Business Development & Capital Raising to help expand the firm's investor base and drive fundraising initiatives across multiple channels. This individual will play a key role in developing relationships with institutional investors, family offices, RIAs, wealth management platforms, and high-net-worth individuals while supporting the firm's long-term growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute capital raising strategies to attract new investors and expand existing relationships.
Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective investors across institutional and private wealth channels.
Conduct outreach, meetings, presentations, and ongoing relationship management with current and prospective investors.
Partner with senior leadership on fundraising initiatives, investor communications, and strategic business development efforts.
Maintain CRM systems, track investor activity, and provide reporting on fundraising progress and pipeline development.
Represent the firm at industry conferences, networking events, and investor meetings.
Ideal Background
Experience in investor relations, capital raising, business development, private wealth, private equity, private credit, hedge funds, or alternative investments.
Demonstrated success cultivating relationships with family offices, RIAs, wealth advisors, institutional investors, and high-net-worth individuals.
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
Self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and can work independently to drive results.
Familiarity with CRM platforms, fundraising processes, and alternative investment products preferred.
