What You’ll Do

As a Sales Professional, you will begin with a 6–12 month onboarding and training period designed to build deep product knowledge, strengthen core sales skills, and develop expertise across lead generation, sales execution, deal structuring, closing, and client management.

During this period, you will gain hands-on experience generating new opportunities through trade shows, networking events, and targeted outreach.

You will work closely with experienced sales professionals, effectively apprenticing while helping manage the sales pipeline, supporting transactions, and beginning to build your own book of business.

The goal of this period is simple: learn the product, learn the process, and demonstrate the initiative, emotional intelligence, and drive needed to build relationships and close new business.

After completing this initial phase, you will take full ownership of the sales process and operate with increasing autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and convert a healthy and predictable sales pipeline

  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from initial outreach through contract execution

  • Lead discovery conversations to uncover prospect needs, financial drivers, and decision criteria

  • Present the company’s value proposition clearly and persuasively to senior decision-makers

  • Structure and negotiate deals that balance client value with company profitability

  • Maintain accurate CRM data for forecasting, pipeline visibility, and activity tracking

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, finance, media, and leadership teams

  • Represent the company across prospecting channels including networking events, industry conferences, and trade shows

  • Manage and grow long-term relationships with clients and key decision makers

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of professional experience, including 2+ years in marketing at a CPG company

  • Excited to pivot into a revenue-driven sales role

  • MBA with a focus on strategy, finance, or marketing

  • Highly ambitious and competitive, motivated by the challenge and financial rewards of winning new business

  • Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to connect strategy, pricing, and execution to measurable outcomes

  • Experience with P&L ownership or financial responsibility at the brand, category, or business unit level

  • Comfortable with commercial negotiations and value-based selling

  • Resilient, persistent, and comfortable navigating complex sales cycles

  • Strong communicator and relationship builder across multiple levels of an organization

  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with travel required to meet clients and prospects

Compensation

Base Salary: $150,000 – $175,000 + commission

Compensation is determined by experience, location, and other relevant factors.
