Piper Companies is seeking a VP of Client Solutions to join a high-growth client in the enterprise SaaS industry. The VP of Client Solutions will operate in a fully remote capacity with occasional travel required a few times per quarter. The VP of Client Solutions will be a seasoned leader with a strong background in solution engineering management, SaaS platforms (ideally AI-focused), and building high-impact pre-sales organizations that drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities of the VP of Client Solutions include:
- Build and lead a global pre-sales organization focused on delivering high-quality technical discovery, demos, and POCs
- Establish scalable frameworks for demo execution, ROI storytelling, and POC governance to improve conversion rates and accelerate deal cycles
- Shape the overall pre-sales strategy to align with sales and marketing objectives, ensuring strong pipeline influence and measurable ARR impact
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Client Delivery teams to refine messaging, inform roadmap decisions, and ensure successful solution alignment
- Drive operational excellence through performance tracking, resource planning, and continuous improvement of tools, processes, and team capabilities
Requirements of the VP of Client Solutions include:
- 8+ years of experience in solutions engineering, pre-sales, or technical sales, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role
- Experience scaling global pre-sales teams in a high-growth enterprise SaaS environment, including management of Solution Engineers and industry SMEs
- Strong SaaS background with familiarity or exposure to AI-driven technologies and platforms
- Fully remote work environment with % travel requirements
Compensation for the VP of Client Solutions include:
- $260,000 - $330,000 annually
