Reconcile GL accounts, prepare supporting schedules, post adjusting journal entries, conduct variance analysis, and prepare monthly financial and KPI reporting / dashboard packages.
Collaborate with the leadership team on adhoc analysis to analyze trends in the business and provide insights for financial forecasts and modeling
Conduct inventory analysis and coordinate the physical inventory and cycle count processes, ensuring accuracy.
Analyze and streamline various processes across the business with an emphasis on continuous productivity improvement.
Assist in the setup and implementation of the new ERP system.
Update and track statuses of each job order (billings vs payments) and manage state tax and property tax filings.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
3+ years of applicable experience with knowledge of US GAAP and accrual-based accounting; preference shown to prior work history in corporate or public accounting
Proficient in Microsoft programs with advanced Excel skills including creating formula driven financial analysis spreadsheets
Exceptional work ethic and communication skills with ability to work effectively in both independent and collaborative team-based environments
Prior experience handling external and internal audits preferred
Familiarity with ASC 606, COSO Framework and internal controls, and lean manufacturing / 5S is a plus
Prior ERP implementation experience is a plus (preference shown to Epicor)
