VP of Finance
The Vice President of Finance is a senior executive responsible for overseeing the organizations financial strategy, planning, and operations. This role partners closely leadership team to drive sustainable growth, ensure financial health, support strategic decision-making, and managing relationships with banks and lenders to optimize financial performance.
VP of Finance Responsibilities:
Lead the companys overall financial strategy, planning, and forecasting.
Oversee budgeting, financial modeling, and long-range financial plans.
Manage and maintain relationships with banks, lenders, and other financial institutions.
Serve as primary point of contact for credit facilities, lines of credit, and loan agreements.
Negotiate bank terms, fees, and credit arrangements to optimize cost of capital.
Manage financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and capital structure.
Oversee accounting, tax, audit, treasury, and financial controls.
Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to leadership.
Ensure compliance and applicable regulatory requirements.
Partner with department leaders to align financial goals with business objectives.
Making recommendations to business stakeholders.
VP of Finance Qualifications:
10+ years experience in a financial leadership position.
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required.
Strategic financial leadership.
Financial modeling and forecasting.
Risk management and internal controls.
Business partnering and executive communication.
Data-driven decision-making.
Change management and scalability mindset.
