VP of Fire & Security Systems

Bemana is searching for a VP of Fire & Security Systems on behalf of a well established company for their branch location in the Fort Myers, FL area. This branch is an Edwards distributor and provides integrated solutions for commercial fire alarm systems and low voltage systems in Central and South Florida.

The Vice President of Fire & Security Systems is responsible for leading the strategic direction, operational performance, and profitable growth of the company's fire alarm, fire suppression, security, and life safety divisions. This executive role oversees sales, operations, installation, service, compliance, and financial performance.

Working closely with the CEO and executive leadership team, the Vice President will drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, strengthen customer relationships, and develop a high-performing organization.

Position Offers:

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Fire & Security division in alignment with company goals.
• Drive revenue growth through new business development, customer retention, cross-selling, and expansion of recurring service agreements.
• Identify new markets, technologies, and service offerings to maintain a competitive advantage.
• Support mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, integration, and operational optimization.

Operations & Financial Management

• Maintain full P&L responsibility, including revenue, profitability, EBITDA, and operational performance.
• Establish and monitor KPIs related to safety, productivity, project execution, customer satisfaction, and financial results.
• Oversee project management, scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation across installation and service teams.
• Partner with finance to improve forecasting, pricing strategies, and cost controls.

Sales & Customer Relations

• Collaborate with sales leadership to develop revenue strategies, pipeline management, and pricing initiatives.
• Oversee estimating, contract negotiations, and proposal development for major projects.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, general contractors, developers, property managers, and regulatory authorities.
• Support the growth of long-term service agreements and recurring revenue.

Compliance & Quality

• Ensure compliance with all applicable fire and life safety codes, including NFPA, IFC, UL, FM, and local AHJ requirements.
• Oversee licensing, certifications, inspections, testing, and regulatory documentation.
• Champion a strong safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, consistency, and operational excellence.

Leadership & Talent Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop leaders across operations, sales, service, and administration.
• Drive recruiting, workforce planning, training, and succession planning.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous professional development.
