A 50+ year old, multiple award-winning, Rocky Mountain focused General Contractor with a Portfolio of Projects ranging from Ground Up, Multi-Family, Federal, Industrial, TI & Wider Commercial builds.
With their Head Office located just off the i-25 in the North side of the Denver Metro Area, this organization is one of the premier Colorado General Contractors.
Your New Role
Due to a combination of continued growth & a key client/developer with pipeline in Tulsa, OKC - this GC is looking to expand their operations outside of CO and enter into the OKC Market with an office situated in Tulsa.
Reporting directly into the President - you will have full responsibility for the OKC Region (P&L, Hiring, Business Development etc). Whilst the title is currently fluid - this is on par with a VP/SVP level role, and you will be the Area Director for OKC.
You will have an office in Tulsa from Day 1 and begin to build out the operation as you see fit. Your first 30 days will be spent in Denver - learning the business, culture standards and SOPs and you will continue to be flown out to Head Office every month thereafter.
With 2-4 projects scheduled to break ground over the Summer in OKC - this GC will have a Per Diem team working on these whilst you focus on building out a local team that can take over projects down the road.
What you'll need to succeed
OKC roots - with breaking into a new State - this GC is starting from the ground up in terms of awareness, subcontractors and future business. Proven history of contacts and a network in OKC to use from Day 1 will be key.
Confident with Procore and wider scheduling software
Project Spends = $30M and above
10+ years within a GC environment - understands the pace and day to day life of a GC
Extremely strong time management, stakeholder and leadership skills
Experience of overseeing end to end, cradle to grave projects
An understanding of OKC building regs and laws
What you'll get in return
Up to $200,000 basic salary + package (car allowance etc) = $225,000 Package+
