Commercial Leader

Manage a team of 20 candidates within Sales and Marketing located across the United States. Serve as the face of the commercial team meeting directly with customers, vendors and suppliers. Develop a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand the company's customer base. Evaluate and help break into new market segments. Build trust, culture, collaboration with your team. Assist the president in managing company P&L, financials, forecasting and budgeting. Manage, track, strategize and grow all sales and marketing activities. Work cross functionally across all teams within the organization. Build and maintain strong / long-lasting customer relationships. Partnering with customers to understand their business needs and objectives, and how our solutions can serve them. Serve as an executive leader within the company working collaboratively. Identifying emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status. Building and leading a high-performing sales team.

Bachelors degree in Engineering or other related field. Chemical Engineering or Electrical Engineering ideal. Minimum of 8-10 years of technical sales leadership experience. Experience in chemical engineering, electrical engineering or other engineering related field. Prior experience managing 15-20+ people - both direct and indirect reports. A proven track record in sales leadership, meeting or exceeding targets. Previous experience in both sales and marketing leadership. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close. Strong business sense and industry expertise selling across multiple different industries. Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
A competitive salary range of $180-230k base salary, commensurate with experience. Variable compensation ~20-30%. Comprehensive benefits package. Opportunity to lead and develop a sales team within the organization. Location: Onsite role in the Haymarket to Manassas Virginia area would be a plus, but open to a remote based hire willing to travel.
