Job Details

We are seeking a proven leader to take full ownership of our center development and expansion function. Title will be determined based on experience, with flexibility to hire at either the Chief Growth Officer or VP of Center Development level.

This role is highly execution-focused and responsible for driving new location growth from site selection through opening. The right candidate will bring a track record of opening multiple locations annually and building a repeatable, scalable development engine.

This is a high-visibility role partnering directly with executive leadership and responsible for improving speed, predictability, and accountability across all expansion efforts.

Key Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of center development and physical expansion
Own pipeline of new locations, relocations, and market growth initiatives
Drive site selection, broker relationships, and lease negotiations
Oversee permitting, construction, budgets, timelines, and openings cadence
Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of new locations
Build scalable processes, KPIs, dashboards, and forecasting tools
Improve vendor management and cross-functional coordination
Partner with operations, finance, recruiting, and executive leadership
Build and lead an internal development team

Required Experience (Non-Negotiable)
Direct experience opening multiple locations annually (15+ per year preferred)
Hands-on ownership of the full development lifecycle (site selection → lease → permitting → construction → opening)
Experience in multi-site expansion environments (clinics, centers, retail, or service-based locations)
Strong background in lease negotiation, landlord management, and vendor oversight
Proven ability to manage timelines, budgets, and multiple concurrent projects

Preferred Background
Healthcare, behavioral health, dental, veterinary, childcare, fitness, or other multi-site service industries
Experience in high-growth or private equity-backed environments
Multi-state expansion experience
California market experience strongly preferred
What Success Looks Like
Consistent, on-time opening of new locations
Clear pipeline visibility and forecasting
Improved execution speed and reduced delays
Strong vendor and landlord relationships
A repeatable, scalable development platform
Compensation

Competitive compensation package including:

Strong base salary
Performance bonus
Long-term incentive/equity potential depending on level
Important Note

This role is focused on physical site expansion and development execution, not corporate strategy or revenue/marketing growth.

This role is NOT a fit for candidates with backgrounds primarily in:
Investment, acquisitions, or asset management without development execution
Brokerage or leasing-only roles
Strategy or consulting without hands-on rollout experience
Marketing, sales, or revenue growth leadership
