Title: VP Operational Risk Management

Location: New York, NY

Compensation: 150,000 - 190,000

Company Summary: We are partnered with a leading global bank in New York that is looking to grow its Operational Risk Management team. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of experience in Operational Risk, Enterprise Risk, Internal Audit, or another related space, and are well versed in supporting asset or investment management business units. In this role, you will be responsible for leading Operational Risk oversight across the firm's investment management activities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to strengthen operational risk oversight across investment management activities.
• Lead strategic risk initiatives, control assessments, and process improvement efforts to enhance the overall risk framework.
• Evaluate operational risk exposures, ensuring key risks are identified, assessed, and appropriately mitigated.
• Report key operational risks and control issues to senior management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Operational risk, Enterprise risk, Internal audit or related risk management within the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of risk management and controls related to asset or investment management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
