VP/Principal

Overview

We are partnering with a growth-focused investment firm seeking to add a Vice President or Principal to its investment team. The successful candidate will play a key role in sourcing, evaluating, executing, and supporting investments across high-growth consumer and technology businesses.

This individual will work closely with senior leadership and founders, helping drive investment activity across the Series A and Series B landscape while contributing to portfolio value creation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Source and originate new investment opportunities through proactive outreach, industry relationships, and network development
• Lead evaluation and diligence efforts on prospective investments
• Build and maintain relationships with founders, executives, intermediaries, and industry participants
• Develop financial models, investment memorandums, and investment recommendations
• Manage transaction processes from initial evaluation through closing
• Support portfolio companies through strategic initiatives, growth planning, and value creation efforts
• Monitor portfolio company performance and industry trends
• Mentor junior investment professionals and contribute to team development

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of relevant experience in growth equity, venture capital, private equity, or a combination of investment banking and investing
• Demonstrated sourcing and deal origination experience
• Proven transaction execution experience across Series A and Series B investments
• Strong experience evaluating consumer, consumer technology, software, fintech, digital commerce, marketplaces, or technology-enabled services businesses
• Excellent financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities
• Experience interacting directly with founders and management teams
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Target Candidate Profile

An investor with 5-10 years of experience who combines strong sourcing capabilities with hands-on transaction execution experience and has invested across growth-stage consumer and technology companies, particularly within the Series A and Series B ecosystem.
