Job Description:

Job Overview

TE Sensors is establishing itself as a leading provider of differentiated sensing solutions across high‑growth markets including Industrial, Medical, Automotive, and Aerospace, Defense & Marine (AD&M).

The Vice President, Product Management is the General Manager's primary strategic and execution partner, with delegated GM‑level authority and full accountability for a global product and solutions segment of approximately $1B in revenue. This role is designed for a high‑performing, hands‑on leader with ambition and capability to grow into a full Business General Manager role.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Portfolio Leadership

  • Own and lead the 3-5 year portfolio, technology, and investment strategy, grounded in customer needs, market dynamics, competitive intelligence, and financial returns.
  • Drive end‑to‑end product line lifecycle management, including launch, scale, margin expansion, and end‑of‑life decisions.
  • Ruthlessly prioritize high‑impact initiatives and reallocate resources dynamically to accelerate growth and returns.
  • Anticipate macro trends, disruptive technologies, and competitive moves; proactively adapt business and operating models.

Go‑to‑Market, Pricing & Channel Leadership

  • Own global pricing strategy and governance, ensuring disciplined value‑based pricing and margin realization.
  • Define and execute go‑to‑market strategies across direct and distribution channels, aligned with portfolio intent.
  • Build and maintain senior‑level customer and partner relationships (OEMs, Tier customers, distributors)

New Product Introduction, Project Management & Execution

  • Accelerate the NPI pipeline, ensuring market‑ready launches and rapid, predictable ramp to revenue.
  • Lead a global, multi‑industry Project Management organization, delivering complex, regulated, high‑mix sensor programs from customer award through industrialization.
  • Establish and enforce execution discipline at scale: clear governance, prioritization, escalation, and accountability for cost, quality, delivery, and margin.

M&A, Partnerships & Adjacencies

  • Partner with Strategy to lead the full M&A lifecycle: target screening, strategic rationale, diligence, and integration planning.
  • Identify and build partnerships and adjacencies that expand portfolio breadth, accelerate capability development, and open new markets.

Talent, Leadership & Culture

  • Build, lead, and inspire a high‑performing global Product & Project Management organization.
  • Develop future leaders through coaching, delegation, and deliberate succession planning.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, speed, and customer focus.
  • Champion the enterprise adoption of AI and advanced analytics to accelerate strategy execution and operational excellence.

What your background should look like:

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated P&L ownership in a complex, global product environment at or near the $1B scale.
  • Clear aspiration and readiness to step into a Business General Manager role within a global, matrixed enterprise.
  • Strong strategic judgment paired with hands‑on leadership in technical, commercial, and operational settings.
  • Proven ability to lead cross‑functional, global teams and deliver measurable business results.
  • Deep business and financial acumen, including portfolio trade‑offs, business cases, and forecasting.
  • Strong technical foundation in sensors or adjacent mechatronic, electrical, or electronic technologies.
  • Track record of execution discipline in complex, regulated, multi‑industry environments.
  • Experience leading or materially contributing to M&A and integration preferred.
