Strategy: Align the sales organization's objectives with firm business strategythrough active participation in corporate strategic planning, sales strategydevelopment including GTM, forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgeting Sales Org Design: Accountable for effective sales organization design, includingsales job roles, sales channel design, and sales resource deployment Targets: Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume, market share, and otherkey financial performance objectives Training: Lead learning and development initiatives impacting the sales organization,and provides stewardship of sales and sales management talent Performance Management: Establish and govern the sales organizationsperformance management system. This includes establishing guiding salesorganizational principles for managing performance, establishing and prioritizingcritical performance measures for all sales jobs; overseeing the equitable allocationof organization objectives across all sales channels, markets, and personnel; andensuring all key sales and sales management associates are held accountable forassigned results
About this role The VP, Sales will be responsible for supporting our sales teams, carrying out strategicplans that will increase the company's revenue while ensuring the sales teams achieve theirtargets. This leader understands and will research global trends to advise on key marketstrategies. This role will be based in the United States and will report directly to the ChiefRevenue Officer Minimum requirements and experience:
A degree / diploma in Business or Marketing or related field with at least 15 years of Sales Management experience in B2B settings Must have valid passport and be willing to travel internationally to support directsales staff as well as distributors and reseller partners to close large strategic salesopportunities Must be committed to GTM and Sales Management excellence Must be well-versed using SalesForce CRM
