ABOUT THE JOB
Tech Etch is seeking a Vice President, Sales & Marketing to lead enterprise growth planning and execution across the organization. This role is responsible for driving sustainable, profitable growth through a balanced focus on organic initiatives, strategic account expansion, and inorganic growth opportunities.
The VP, Growth & Strategy is a creative, innovative, and technically fluent executive who can translate complex manufacturing capabilities into compelling growth strategies and market‑facing value propositions. Partnering closely with the CEO and Executive Team, this leader will shape and execute enterprise growth plans that align market opportunity, customer needs, and Tech Etch’s operational strengths.
This role requires the ability to think strategically, communicate clearly, and lead cross‑functionally — balancing data‑driven decision‑making with creativity, commercial insight, and a deep understanding of Tech Etch’s customers and industries.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute enterprise growth strategies aligned with corporate objectives and manufacturing capabilities.
- Partner with executive leadership to translate strategic priorities into actionable growth initiatives and measurable outcomes.
- Build, mentor, and scale high-performing teams across sales and marketing
- Prioritize target markets, customer segments, and service expansion opportunities.
- Translate complex, technical manufacturing capabilities into compelling customer‑facing narratives that resonate with engineering, procurement, and executive stakeholders.
- Support growth-related M&A initiatives, including opportunity assessment, commercial diligence, and integration planning.
- Establish and lead a strategic account planning framework to drive expansion, retention, and long-term customer value.
- Own Tech Etch’s enterprise‑level go‑to‑market and brand strategy, ensuring a clear, differentiated value proposition across target industries, customers, and end markets.
- Partner with Finance and Operations to ensure growth plans are financially sound, operationally executable, and margin-accretive.
- Oversee pricing strategy and support disciplined revenue and margin management.
- Leverage CRM and commercial analytics to monitor performance, forecast growth, and inform decision-making.
- Develop market intelligence and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Serve as a key advisor to the Executive Team on growth opportunities, risks, and priorities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required; Engineering degree and/or MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in strategy, growth, sales, marketing, or commercial leadership roles.
- Experience in manufacturing services, contract manufacturing, or engineered-to-order environments.
- Demonstrated experience supporting organic and inorganic growth initiatives.
- Strong financial acumen including pricing strategy, forecasting, and margin management.
- Experience in regulated or quality-driven industries preferred.
- Strong executive communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
WORK CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Office and manufacturing-floor environment.
- Domestic travel with occasional international travel (approximately 15%–30%).

SALARY RANGE
Base salary of $225,000-$275,000; complemented by a significant annual performance bonus and participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
