Position Overview

The social landscape has, and still is, evolving rapidly, but the current op model hasn't kept pace. Currently, managing paid, organic, creator, and content as separate ecosystems is holding brands back from connecting social insight, strategy, and activation across all social touchpoints.

This is the gap we're proposing to solve. With a dedicated Social Strategy VP who owns the orchestration of how GEICO's social ecosystem operates and delivers on marketing strategy. The primary focus is to uplevel how GEICO's paid amplification, organic momentum, creator partnerships, and content strategy inform and accelerate each other.

With a dedicated Strategy leader partnered with UM's new Social/Performance Analytics function, you'll have both the strategic architecture (how social should work) and the measurement narrative (how to prove it's working) in place to unlock the integrated, cohesive campaigns GEICO needs.

Core Responsibilities

• Define and operationalize a social strategy reset across paid, organic, creator, content. Establishing channel roles, audience/funnel mapping, and content system architecture that reflects a unified social ecosystem (not siloed channels)
• Deliver social thought leadership and platform insights that translate marketplace shifts into actionable GEICO recommendations
• Evolve paid amplification strategy to refine how creator and brand-led organic assets should be prioritized, what assets are ready to scale, and which platforms optimize performance. Operationalizing the paid amplification playbook.
• Design and operationalize an integrated social operating model that connects insight to brief through to measure and optimize across paid, organic, creator/ CREO channels. Ensure organic momentum, creator learnings, and content signals systematically inform paid media decisions and future creative priorities
• Partner with UM Social Analytics role to build unified reporting narratives and decision oriented recommendations that connect performance across social campaigns ensuring strategy translates analytics into next best action
• Integrate platform innovation, partner value, creator opportunities, and thought

leadership into campaign planning. Authoring frameworks for how these elements feed strategy and creative development.

What Success Looks Like

• More cohesive campaigns across paid, organic, creator working as integrated system
• Stronger paid/organic/creator/OI integration. Operating with clear rules of engagement for what content gets scaled, how decisions flow across channels
• Brigs operational clarity to teams aligned on the "OM way of working" across insight, brief, build, activate, measure, optimize
• Strategic platform decisions are bringing forward platform innovation, partner value, creator opportunities, and thought leadership integrated into campaign planning

$180k-$190k

Omnicom's policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom's corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
