    Position Summary

    Looking for a Vice President to join the FIG & Sponsors Risk Solutions team with a primary focus on Sponsors and non-flow hedging solutions. The role is designed for an experienced markets professional who can originate, structure, and execute derivatives solutions for financial sponsors and institutional clients while serving as a senior client-facing partner within the franchise.

    The Vice President will be expected to lead day-to-day client coverage and transaction execution, deliver actionable market insights, and develop tailored risk management solutions across FX and fixed income derivatives. The role requires strong technical fluency in derivatives structuring, credit considerations, legal documentation, XVA frameworks, ISDA documentation, and counterparty risk, as well as the judgment to coordinate effectively with trading, credit portfolio management, legal, operations, and relationship management teams. This position offers the opportunity to act as a trusted advisor to clients, help drive commercial strategy for the FIG and Sponsors franchise, and mentor junior team members while contributing to the broader growth of the platform.

    Major Responsibilities

    • Lead marketing, origination, and execution efforts within the FIG & Sponsors Risk Solutions team, with meaningful ownership of client-facing activity
    • Develop and deliver analytical frameworks and derivatives structuring solutions tailored to sponsors and institutional clients
    • Independently prepare and present market updates, trade ideas, and product education to clients, while coordinating input from senior stakeholders and product partners
    • Price, structure, and execute FX and derivative transactions, including assessment and communication of XVA, credit, and documentation considerations
    • Drive the development and refinement of credit processes, new product initiatives, and hedging strategies that support franchise growth and prudent risk management
    • Partner proactively with traders, credit portfolio management, legal, operations, and coverage teams to manage execution risk, resolve issues, and deliver a high standard of client service

    Qualifications

    • 5–6+ years of experience in financial markets, with meaningful experience in FX, rates, or other derivatives products preferred
    • Strong command of financial products, derivatives valuation, corporate finance, and market risk concepts; BBA, MBA, CFA, or similar finance-related background preferred
    • Experience covering financial sponsors preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex credit, legal, and risk dynamics impacting derivative transactions, including structuring, XVA, ISDA documentation, and counterparty risk considerations
    • Strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, and comfort leading discussions involving quantitative concepts and transaction economics
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients, senior stakeholders, and internal control partners
    • Collaborative leadership style, with the ability to take ownership, exercise sound judgment, mentor junior colleagues, and advance strategic priorities across the team.
    • The typical base pay range for this role is between $180K - $253K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
