  • Provide legal advice and guidance on structured investment products.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including a structured product desk, to address legal requirements.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to structured investments.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in the technology and telecoms sector.
  • Analyze legal risks and recommend strategies to mitigate them.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes impacting structured investments.
  • Support legal operations for broker-dealer activities as needed.

Profile

A successful VP, Structured Investments Counsel should have:

  • A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Experience in a law firm or in-house legal role at a broker-dealer.
  • Knowledge of structured investment products and relevant regulations.
  • Strong understanding of legal operations in the technology and telecoms industry.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
