The role carries full business development ownership building and expanding client relationships across the US and Greater China corridor while leveraging deep cross-border banking expertise and an established network to drive meaningful portfolio growth. It's an ideal fit for a seasoned bilingual banking professional with 15+ years of cross-border and international banking experience who combines strong origination instincts with solid credit fundamentals and the executive presence to serve as both a trusted client advisor and an internal resource for product and market expertise. Mandarin proficiency is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead business development and portfolio growth for cross-border banking clients with a primary focus on Greater China markets and US-China corridor opportunities including nearshoring
Build, manage, and deepen relationships across a large, diverse, and complex portfolio of cross-border clients operating between the US and Greater China
Act as a strategic consultant to clients, identifying financial needs and delivering tailored banking solutions across lending, treasury, and other product lines
Perform and oversee underwriting and forecasting for all loan transactions;maintain a high standard of work product quality and consistency
Demonstrate deep product and operational knowledge across corporate finance, C&I lending, and cross-border banking products
Attain established individual, departmental, and institutional financial production goals
Leverage an existing network and high degree of independence to originate new relationships and expand wallet share within the target market
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to structure and execute complex transactions
May perform other duties and projects as assigned by senior management
