Explore the wonders of Vermont and indulge in a multitude of thrilling activities. Vermont's Northeast Kingdom is an outdoor wonderland offering a paradise of adventures! Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse (RN) and be at the forefront of coordinating exceptional patient care for adult and pediatric patients. Your expertise will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care in the dynamic general Med/Surg unit. Collaborate with a talented group of professionals and lead them to meet the unique needs of our diverse patient population, all while utilizing the innovative Nursing Process to make critical decisions. We prioritize holistic care, ensuring that patients' age, physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs are met with compassion and proficiency. You will be accountable to the Unit Director and work closely with the Clinical Nurse Lead and/or Nursing Supervisor during your shift, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. To join our team, you must have at least 3 years of acute care experience, with preference given to candidates with Meditech experience. A current Vermont RN or multi-state RN licensure, BLS (American Heart Association), and ACLS certification are required prior to start. NVRH delivers primary and preventive care, surgical and specialty services, inpatient and outpatient care, and round-the-clock emergency services staffed by our dedicated board-certified physicians. NVRH is located in a beautiful rural community. We re happy to provide a local housing resource list; however, candidates are responsible for securing their own housing. Please note that public transportation and rideshare services are not available in our area, so reliable personal transportation is essential. We recommend arranging housing in advance and bringing a vehicle for the assignment. We know a smooth onboarding is important, so please upload all required credentials five business days before your start date.     Shift: Day shift 7am - 7pm! Three 12 hour shifts, 36 hours per week includes every other weekend.
