The WACO Executive Closer is a high-impact, individual contributor role focused on maintaining a predetermined monthly quota of closed files. This role is for a proven subject matter expert who can handle complex files, deliver exceptional service, and serve as a resource for clients and community partners.
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee a personal closing pipeline to meet or exceed a predetermined monthly closed-file quota.
Collaborate effectively with a dedicated team of processors to ensure a seamless and efficient closing process for all files.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, real estate agents, and lenders, providing expert guidance and proactive communication throughout the closing process.
Analyze title insurance commitments, real estate contracts, and lender requirements to identify and resolve issues required for a successful closing.
Facilitate escrow closings by explaining documents to customers and securing all necessary signatures.
Prepare and review complex Settlement Statements, including collaboration with the lender to finalize the Closing Disclosure and balance the file.
Adhere to all industry best practices, including ALTA's Best Practices, to protect WACO and safeguard company assets.
Serve as a subject matter expert for realtors, buyers, sellers, lenders, and builders regarding closing procedures.
Actively expand existing business relationships and develop new business within the community.
Promote WACO generally by participating in community programs, business groups, and charitable organizations, including preparing and presenting seminars for REALTORS and builders.
May supervise assigned associates, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth and ensure team objectives are met.
Processes, vets, and approves outgoing wire transfer requests with an established approval limit, ensuring proper approval and documentation are obtained prior to submission.
Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Fulfills supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Experience
5 years of title-related (closing preferred) experience
2 years of supervisory experience
Proven ability to develop and build a closing and sales pipeline
Exceptional consultative skills: ability to probe. listen, clarify, and present information to advance sales transactions, and deepen relationships
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including influencing, conflict resolution and negotiating
Advanced knowledge of Title Commitment Requirements and Exceptions
Education
Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience or relevant military experience.
Credentials
Licensed Notary Public (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
Licensed Title Agent (or ability to obtain within one year)

Must be able to arrive at work on time, work on site and have regular work attendance.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Grade 15
Pay Range: $62500 - $78125 per year
