Wait Staff / Server

Schedule: Part-time days (7am-11am) or evenings (4pm-7pm)

What will you do? You will be responsible for:

• Taking menu orders from residents, guests, and community associates.
• Serving meals.
• Bussing tables according to established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes proper food handling and food service technique.
• Ensures tables are perfectly set, chairs are in place and clean.
• Takes orders from residents, guests, or associates promptly.
• Is knowledgeable of all specials and general descriptions of all food items being served.
• Provides service in a friendly and timely manner.
• Busses tables and resets for the next meal service according to established policy and procedure.
• Orders necessary supplies and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Good team work skills.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be familiar with Health Department Regulations.

Education and Experience:

• Must be at least 16 years old and have working papers.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English language.
• Must be able to process simple mathematical calculations: add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• Previous experience working in a restaurant setting preferred.

Pay Range: $17.00 - $18.00 Starting Pay: Based on experience
