Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Job Summary: As a Waiver, you will oversee the wave planning and order distribution for outbound operations. The role ensures efficient workflow management, adherence to sail dates, and coordination between picking, QC, shipping, and inventory teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage and distribute work assignments to pickers, ensuring orders are processed in alignment with sail dates and shipping schedules. • Monitor and verify QC operations, ensuring all loads are reviewed and completed on time. • Identify and report damages to Inventory Control for timely resolution. • Track and follow up on pending orders proactively addressing any delays. • Monitor workflow and adjust labor allocation to optimize efficiency. • Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other departments to maintain smooth warehouse operations. • Troubleshoot system-related issues and submit ITMIS tickets as necessary. • Prepare for the next shift by printing order summaries and organizing workflow assignments. • Accurately input order data into the Synapse system, ensuring correct spots and weights are recorded. • Generate and submit shift reports detailing operational progress and any outstanding issues. • Support cross-functional initiatives by assisting in related outbound tasks as required.
Additional Responsibilities:
Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or wave planning is preferred. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required. Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment. Proficiency in warehouse management systems, such as Synapse or similar platforms, is necessary. Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective team coordination. Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or general education diploma (GED) • Warehousing certifications a plus • Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and comprehend English is required • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals • Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists • Computer Skills: Knowledge of Business Operating Systems, Internet software, Word Processing, and Spreadsheet software
Physical Demands:
• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds • Must be able to activate phone systems utilizing keyboards and buttons • Must be articulate and comfortable speaking in front of others • Regularly works in an indoor office environment and required to sit and/or use repetitive hand motion • Frequently required to talk, hear, bend over, squat, reach, push, pull, stand, and walk • Must be able to work in excess of continuous 8 hours when required • Must be able to work under stressful situations, have good cognitive skills, maintain work accuracy, and the ability to concentrate on more than one task at a time
Work Environment:
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles • The noise level in the work environment will range from quiet to moderately loud
