Wall-to-Wall Inventory Specialist Level 1 NOAA APS

Key Responsibilities

• The contractor shall plan, execute, and reconcile a complete physical wall-to-wall inventory of all NESDIS accountable assets annually.
• The contractor shall develop an Annual Inventory Plan detailing the schedule, staffing approach, and methodology for the wall-to-wall inventory.
• The contractor shall physically locate and scan 100% of assets listed in the Master Inventory List.
• This includes visiting all designated storage areas, server rooms, and office spaces listed in the Place of Performance.
• The contractor shall identify discrepancies between the physical scan and the PPMS records. The contractor shall investigate all "Not Found" items and provide a justification or "Report of Survey" for every missing asset.
• The contractor shall prepare the Annual Inventory Certification Report summarizing the findings, accuracy rates, and corrective actions taken for signature by the Property Accountability Officer.
• Full-year inventory readiness; field execution; daily progress; discrepancy and Not Found research; reconciliation and certification support.
