Description
Our parts team is currently in search of a Parts Delivery/Warehouse associate! In this role, you will be tasked with processing and stocking incoming parts and preparing parts for outgoing delivery. This role also entails delivery of parts to local businesses.
Pay is $20/hr. Multiple shifts available Monday-Friday.
ROLE QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/or years' experience required:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
A clean driving record and valid driver's license
Preferred/Required Skills and Abilities:
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Basic computer skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
Strong communication skills
Must be able to work independently and be a team player in the department
Must have basic math skills
The ability to read and comprehend instructions and information is required
Supervision of others/decision making aptitude (if applicable):
No supervisory responsibilities required with this position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Verify all incoming and outgoing shipments.
Verify inventory with paperwork.
Prepare parts for delivery safely and accurately.
Load and unload part orders.
Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming parts.
Delivery of parts to local businesses.
Ensure company vehicle is clean and maintained.
Complete vehicle safety checks per Company policy and operates the vehicle within safety guidelines; immediately reports any safety concerns or Company Policy violations to management.
Operate a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks (where applicable).
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending meetings; educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, secure, and safe at all times.
Performs Wallwork Inc.-wide duties as requested by the designated supervisor.
Adhere to work schedule and maintain regular attendance.
Upholds Wallwork Inc. ethical standards and demonstrate the behavioral and service expectations as defined in our policies and procedures.
