WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR
Position Type: Temp to Hire
Position Hours: 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: $28.00/hour
Location: Hebron, OH
The qualified candidate will be responsible for leading a team of Forklift Operators, Sequencers and Transportation Drivers. Candidate must possess solid communication and leadership skills and be a goal-oriented individual.
Essential Job Functions
- Oversee all departmental activities and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures and applicable laws.
- Resolve employee issues, ensure positive employee relations, and promote and enforce all company policies fairly and consistently.
- Responsible for area performance measures and individual employee work performance; provide coaching and direction to employees; and work with the operations manager to identify, develop and implement training needs for employees.
- Responsible for communication at all levels.
- Follow all company quality management system and safety program requirements.
Required skills, knowledge and abilities
- 3 to 5 years supervisory experience.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills essential.
- Familiarity with proven quality management programs (i.e. ISO 9001; IAFT 16949 Standards).
- Familiarity with proven safety programs (i.e. OHSA Regulations).
- Basic Computer / IT skills (databases, MS Office etc.).
- Valid driver’s license.
