Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our warehouse team in Plano, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and staging products for shipment while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This is a great opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience who are looking for a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick parts and products based on predetermined locations and quantities listed on pick sheets
- Stage selected items on carts or pallets and transport them to the quality assurance area
- Assist in organizing, cleaning, and maintaining inventory storage areas
- Support packing operations, including preparing products with protective materials to ensure safe transit
- Follow all warehouse procedures, policies, and quality standards
- Adhere to safety guidelines and report any issues or incidents immediately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of warehouse, inventory, or receiving experience preferred
- Basic computer skills required
- Valid driver's license may be required
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
- Good communication, time management, and organizational abilities
Skills & Requirements
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools
- Experience with pallet jacks and standard warehouse equipment preferred
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
- Comfortable lifting and moving up to 50 lbs
- Ability to bend, reach, use hand dexterity, and distinguish colors
