Order Picker (Temporary) - Plano, TX

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our warehouse team in Plano, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and staging products for shipment while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Key Responsibilities

• Pick parts and products based on predetermined locations and quantities listed on pick sheets
• Stage selected items on carts or pallets and transport them to the quality assurance area
• Assist in organizing, cleaning, and maintaining inventory storage areas
• Support packing operations, including preparing products with protective materials to ensure safe transit
• Follow all warehouse procedures, policies, and quality standards
• Adhere to safety guidelines and report any issues or incidents immediately

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years of warehouse, inventory, or receiving experience preferred
• Basic computer skills required
• Valid driver's license may be required
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
• Good communication, time management, and organizational abilities

Skills & Requirements

• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools
• Experience with pallet jacks and standard warehouse equipment preferred
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
• Comfortable lifting and moving up to 50 lbs
• Ability to bend, reach, use hand dexterity, and distinguish colors

Physical Demands

• Requires standing, bending, and reaching
• Required to walk long distances
• Lifting and carrying items up to 50 lbs
• Continuous use of hands and arms throughout the shift
