Job Description:
Directly reporting the PPS Warehouse Manager, Palmetto Processing Solutions is looking for a Warehouse Administrative Assistant. Palmetto Processing Solutions is a food (RTE) processing slice and dice, puree, and frozen fruit cups facility. The PPS Warehouse Administrative Assistant provides administrative services and support to the Warehouse Manager and staff in all transactions of all materials for a fruit & vegetable processing operation located in Ridge Spring, SC.
Specific Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:
- Support Warehouse and Logistics in daily functions
- Submit and track orders
- Prepare, file and scan documentation
- Assist in reviewing documentation and inventory accuracy
- Answer phone calls, emails, and other correspondence
- Schedule shipping and receiving appointments in required software Assist in shipping and receiving documentation
- Other duties as assigned
- Other duties as assigned by your supervisor / manager
Educations and/or Experience Requirements:
- Administrative experience in warehouse processes and procedures desired
- Highschool diploma or equivant experience required
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience in Food Processing Facilities desired
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook
- Knowledgeable in ERP, appointment scheduling, and warehouse management systems
- Have strong communincation skills and proficience in English reading and writing
- Bilingual in English and Spanish highly desired but not required
