Summary
John Deere is seeking a Business Analyst to support the advancement of warehouse management solutions within the Parts Services organization in Milan, Illinois.
In this role, you will work closely with warehouse operations, engineering, and IT stakeholders to support the rollout and ongoing use of modern warehouse management systems and Smart Connected Warehouse (SCW) capabilities. This position plays a key role in driving operational transformation through system support, training, and on-site implementation assistance.
This is a hands-on, onsite opportunity to contribute directly to warehouse modernization initiatives, support system deployments, and help train and enable end users across warehouse office and floor operations.
Key Responsibilities
Smart Connected Warehouse Support
- Provide production support for warehouse facilities utilizing modern and connected warehouse solutions
- Support the deployment of new SCW system capabilities as they are developed and released
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during warehouse system implementations
Training & Implementation Support
- Create training documentation for warehouse office staff and floor personnel
- Conduct end-user training on warehouse management systems and new processes
- Prepare facilities for Parts IT Modernization (PITM) implementations
- Directly support operators during system rollouts and post-implementation stabilization
Operational & Technical Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with internal customers, warehouse teams, and project stakeholders
- Support warehouse operations in the use of technical tools and IT systems
- Assist in driving process improvements tied to new warehouse management technologies
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience working within an Operations and/or Engineering function
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work onsite in an active warehouse environment
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience working in warehouse or other operational environments
- 3+ years of experience in an engineering role supporting operations
- Experience training personnel on processes and best practices
- Experience supporting operations in the use of technical tools or IT systems
