As a Warehouse & Counter Associate, you'll play a key role in supporting daily operations, helping drive team success, and ensuring a smooth workflow. You'll work closely with the Branch Supervisor and other warehouse crew to deliver high-quality results that keep production running efficiently and safely.
What You'll Do
As a Warehouse and Counter Associate, you will be responsible for:
- Mixing and tinting paint materials accurately as directed by supplier formulas and chemical measurements
- Receiving incoming freight, stocking shelves, and ensuring the showroom and warehouse inventory are properly rotated
- Operating a forklift safely to move, stock, stage, and fulfill shipping and will-call customer orders
- Completing regular inventory cycle counts and processing dead stock reports to maintain system accuracy
- Processing customer sales orders and pricing quotes efficiently by phone, email, or in person at the front counter
- Handling customer inquiries and complaints with tact, entering data into computer systems, and assisting as a back-up delivery driver as needed
What Youll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in retail counter sales, customer service, or warehouse operations preferred
- Basic math skills and comfortable using computers for data entry
- Ability to obtain a forklift certification and willingness to safely handle paint materials and fumes using proper PPE
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs consistently, and stand for the majority of the workday on hard surfaces
