    Job Type

    Full-time

    Description

Balanced Body is the global leader in Pilates equipment and education. We are seeking a hands-on, high-integrity Warehouse Supervisor to lead our Sacramento-based logistics team.

This is a role for a Gemba-focused leader, someone who thrives on the warehouse floor but operates with a high degree of system discipline. We are specifically looking for candidates who have operated in high-discipline, system-driven warehouse environments, rather than manual or spreadsheet-based operations. You will be responsible for ensuring that our digital inventory consistently reflects physical reality.

    Core Responsibilities:

    System Discipline & Inventory Accuracy

    • Real-Time Execution: Enforce a system-driven environment where all material movements are executed and recorded in the ERP/WMS at the moment they occur.
    • Scanning Compliance: Drive 100% scanning compliance and transaction accuracy across the team to eliminate data lag.
    • Process Integrity: Identify and eliminate manual ''workarounds'' or offline spreadsheets that create inventory discrepancies.
    • Root Cause Resolution: Lead inventory integrity efforts by identifying the root cause of variances and implementing permanent process fixes, rather than just performing adjustments.

    Leadership & People Development

    • Team Accountability: Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team, ensuring every member is proficient and compliant with system usage and safety protocols.
    • Talent Management: Manage the employee lifecycle, including recruiting, interviewing, and training new hires to support operational standards.
    • Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe facility at all times.

    Warehouse & Logistics Operations

    • Workflow Optimization: Oversee daily shipping, receiving, and storage. Highlight gaps between system design and real-world operations to improve efficiency.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Production and Sales to ensure a seamless flow of materials and timely fulfillment of production orders.
    • Shipping & Freight: Coordinate with the Logistics Coordinator and third-party carriers (FedEx, LTL, FTL, and International Containers).

    Documentation & Systems

    • International Logistics: Ensure accurate processing of waybills and international export documentation.
    • ERP Mastery: Utilize ERP/WMS systems (Business Central experience is a plus) to maintain 100% data accuracy.

    Requirements

    What you bring:

    • System Experience: Required experience in a disciplined, system-driven warehouse (ERP/WMS environment). Preference given to those from environments utilizing scanning and real-time transactions.
    • Warehouse Management: Minimum 5 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (hard goods/discrete manufacturing preferred).
    • Leadership: Minimum 5 years managing people, with a track record of enforcing high standards and building team accountability.
    • International Expertise: Demonstrated experience in international shipping and export documentation.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in large ERP systems and MS Office. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is required.
    • Equipment: Must be able to operate a forklift and obtain certification.
    • Physical Requirements: Capable of pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
