Benefits:About the Role: Artisan Machining, Inc. is looking for a motivated and dependable Warehouse and Shop Support Associate to join our team full-time in Ronkonkoma, NY. This is a hands-on, entry-level role that keeps our shop floor running smoothly, from packing finished parts for shipment to keeping our machines and facility in top shape. Pay: $18 – $20 per hour, based on experience
Responsibilities:- Pack and prepare finished parts for shipment, ensuring proper protection, labeling, and documentation
- Lift, move, and stack heavy boxes and materials (50+ lbs.) throughout the shift
- Perform routine machine maintenance, including checking and topping off coolant and lubricants, clearing chips, and cleaning machines
- Clean and maintain the shop floor, work areas, and restrooms to keep a safe and organized environment
- Empty chip bins, manage scrap and recycling, and dispose of waste properly
- Assist with shipping and receiving using UPS, FedEx, and freight carriers
- Support machinists and production staff with general tasks as needed
Requirements:- No experience required; on-the-job training provided
- Ability to regularly lift and carry 50+ lbs. and stand, bend, and move throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn and take pride in keeping the shop clean and organized
- Forklift or pallet jack experience a plus, but not required
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined under ITAR (U.S. citizen or permanent resident)
