Warehouse & Assembly Technician

Job Overview

The Warehouse/Assembly Technician supports warehouse operations and the Proconex sales organization through product assembly, inventory management, shipping and receiving activities, facility support, and general warehouse operations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining efficient material flow, supporting customer needs, and maintaining a safe, organized, and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assembly & Technical Support

• Assemble valves, regulators, and similar products in support of the Proconex sales organization.
• Perform safety checks on regulators and other products after completing required training.

Warehouse Operations

• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Assist with packaging, skid building, and crate loading.
• Ship and receive materials.
• Move, organize, and maintain inventory throughout storage locations.

Facilities & Event Support

• Assist the Facilities Manager with daily operational activities.
• Support preparation and cleanup activities for corporate events.
• Work occasional overtime or adjusted schedules, as needed, to support inventory activities and corporate events.

Safety & Housekeeping

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Meet all applicable customer safety requirements.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 1+ years of experience in a role requiring strong attention to detail and following procedures
• 1+ years of experience supporting internal or external customers.
• 1+ years mechanical or technical experience using hand tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Trade school education and/or technical training.
• Experience with general shipping and receiving.
• Forklift operating experience.
• Experience working in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
• Experience supporting inventory control and material handling operations.
• Valid Driver's License and driving record that meets company insurability requirements.

Physical Demands

• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, including safely lifting and moving materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
