POSITION SUMMARY

This is a hands-on position responsible for supporting and coordinating the daily activities of Targetti USA's Florida warehouse and light assembly area. The role receives and moves materials, prepares components and kits for production, supports product assembly, and ensures completed orders are packed and staged for shipment.

The ideal candidate is practical, organized, comfortable using tools and warehouse equipment, and able to help coordinate priorities and keep work moving efficiently. This position is designed for either an experienced warehouse and assembly professional who is ready to grow into a leadership role or an experienced team lead who can provide day-to-day direction as the Florida operation expands.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Assembly Workflow Coordination

·         Help coordinate the daily workflow of the light assembly area based on production priorities and delivery requirements.
·         Work directly with assembly employees to demonstrate procedures, answer questions, and keep work moving efficiently.
·         Support compliance with work instructions, Bills of Material, quality requirements, and established procedures.
·         Monitor production progress and communicate delays, shortages, or quality concerns to the Office & Operations Manager.
·         Take on additional workflow coordination and team leadership responsibilities as the Florida operation grows.

Hands-On Assembly & Production Support

·         Perform and support light assembly of architectural lighting products using hand tools, power tools, torque tools, crimping tools, and basic testing equipment.
·         Prepare workstations, tools, fixtures, labels, packaging, and components before production begins.
·         Assist with product modifications, rework, samples, prototypes, and other practical production needs as assigned.
·         Verify assembled products are complete, clean, correctly labeled, and ready for inspection, testing, or packing.
·         Help troubleshoot basic mechanical, assembly, and material-flow issues and escalate technical problems when required.

Material Handling & Production Kitting

·         Pick materials and components from warehouse locations according to production orders, Bills of Material, and picking lists.
·         Prepare, organize, and deliver complete kits to the assembly area before production starts.
·         Return unused materials to the correct inventory locations and identify missing, damaged, or incorrect components.
·         Maintain clear identification and traceability of materials throughout receiving, storage, assembly, and finished-goods staging.

Receiving & Inventory Control

·         Receive inbound materials, unload trucks, verify quantities and condition, and report discrepancies or damage.
·         Place materials in assigned warehouse locations and support accurate inventory transactions, cycle counts, and stock checks.
·         Maintain organized storage locations and assist in investigating inventory variances or misplaced materials.

Shipping & Order Preparation

·         Pick and prepare finished products, samples, replacement parts, and materials for shipment.
·         Pack products securely using the correct boxes, pallets, labels, and protective materials.
·         Stage shipments in the designated area and verify that quantities, documentation, and shipping labels are correct.
·         Load outbound shipments and coordinate pickup activity with Operations, carriers, and drivers.
·         Immediately communicate shipping damage, missing items, or other issues that could affect delivery.

Warehouse & Facility Organization

·         Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse, assembly area, receiving area, and shipping area.
·         Organize tools, equipment, materials, workstations, racks, pallets, and waste-disposal areas for efficient daily operation.

·         Complete required forklift inspections and report equipment defects or maintenance needs immediately.
·         Follow company safety procedures and ensure aisles, exits, electrical panels, and work areas remain clear.
·         Use required personal protective equipment and promote safe lifting, material handling, tool use, and housekeeping practices.
·         Support safe loading, unloading, palletizing, and storage of oversized or heavy materials.
·         Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and ensure they are returned to their assigned locations.
·         Provide hands-on backup coverage across receiving, assembly, inventory, packing, and shipping as needed.
