Ready to join our growing Potbelly Nation?What's In It For You:* Competitive pay with performance-based annual raises!* Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance* Domestic Partnership Benefits* Paid Parental Leave* FSA and HSA with Employer Contribution* Commuter Benefit Program* Retirement Savings 401(k) WITH company match* Employee Assistance Program* Paid Time Off* Discount Program* Flexible Work Schedule* Career growth opportunitiesIf hired, you must meet and maintain all eligibility requirements to qualifyFOCUSResponsibilities* Pulls and distributes materials, artifacts, or other stock items to fill orders.* Prepares and packages goods for shipping.* Maintains accurate inventory records using inventory software.* Receives goods and enters all items into inventory.* Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.* Loads trucks with goods, makes deliveries, and picks up material from local vendors.* Keeps the warehouse clean and organized.* Assists carpenters and painters with prepping material for finishing.* Other duties as assigned.ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS* Must be able to work overtime when needed.* Will frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry, finely manipulate, and key in data.* Must be able to work in both warm and cool environments, indoors and outdoors.* Ability to stand/walk for 9-10 hours per day and sit for 1-2 hours per day.* Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds frequently.* Must be able to communicate through telephone, e-mail and in-person communications.EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND BEHAVIORS* Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.* Experience operating a forklift required.* Must represent The Potbelly Way.* Minimum high school degree.* Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.* Must have valid driver's license.* Must be very neat and organized.* Must be familiar with and comfortable with using basic hand and power tools.* Exceptional interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to interact with all levels of a company.* Must demonstrate leadership behaviors and values that align with Potbelly.Potbelly Sandwich Works may use artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted tools as part of its hiring and recruitment process.
