Description



Position Summary:The primary role of the Warehouse Assistant I is to provide timely, accurate, safe and effective receipt, storage and delivery of goods and materials through the Curbell Medical warehouse, receiving, or shipping departments.



Essential Functions:





+ Perform varied warehousing duties including: Assisting in the unloading, sorting, processing inbound goods receipts. Performing labeling, stocking, and put-away activities. Parts selection, order assembly, and delivery directly to shipping area. Order pulling, parts kitting and delivery directly to production areas. Maintaining and replenishing Kan Ban and point-of-use storage locations. Practicing excellent housekeeping, organization and safe handling practices. Assist in inventory discrepancy investigations. Active participation in special projects and assignments. Maintains high quality service by strictly following organizational procedures and standards. Completes all necessary paperwork, and processes systems transactions in a timely and highly accurate manner. Demonstrates a strong desire to ensure compliance to required dates and proactively resolves potential roadblocks and concerns that risk noncompliance to date requirements.



+ Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat and well organized. Maintains effective and safe materials storage requirements by continually sorting, segregating, cleaning, organizing and protecting goods in storage locations. Compiles with all procedures, rules, and regulations for the safe and effective handling and storage of inventory.including compliance to appropriate PPE and ESD handling procedures.



+ Work effectively and efficiently in a cooperative team environment. Must be positive, flexible, willing and able to assist in all material handling functions. Must communicate effectively to provide solutions to internal Customers in downstream, dependent processes.

Qualifications


Education

Required


+ High School or better




Experience

Required


+ 2 years: Shipping, receiving, inventory management, material handling or order fulfillment preferred.
