Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, shipping, and moving materials while maintaining inventory accuracy and following all safety procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to meeting productivity and quality standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments.
Accurately pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
Load and unload trucks using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, or forklifts (if certified).
Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counts as needed.
Verify product quantities and inspect materials for damage or discrepancies.
Maintain accurate inventory records using scanners or warehouse management systems.
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
Follow all company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Assist with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse duties as assigned.
Work collaboratively with warehouse, production, and shipping teams to meet daily operational goals.
Qualifications
Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience preferred but not required.
Forklift certification or experience is a plus.
Ability to read work orders and shipping documents.
Basic computer and data entry skills preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the shift.
Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Perform repetitive lifting and material handling tasks.
Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures depending on the facility.
Work Environment
Fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment.
Frequent use of pallet jacks, forklifts, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment.
Required use of PPE, including safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, and other protective equipment as required.
Overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs.
