Duration: Contract to hire 6 months - starting ASAP

Location: Hanover Park, Illinois (Onsite)

Role Overview

An opportunity is available for a Warehouse Associate to join a solutions integrator. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all incoming products are received, picked, packed, and quality checked with accuracy and efficiency. The position requires knowledge of warehouse and safety procedures, some computer experience, and the ability to work within a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify contents of shipments against shipping documents, noting any discrepancies or damage.
• Operate a computer terminal to enter receipts and a printer to create labels.
• Pick outbound orders using RF scanners, verifying quantity and correct product.
• Select appropriate box sizes, pack products, and send boxes to the quality check line.

Required Qualifications

Education: High School Education or equivalent.

Experience: At least 6 months of warehouse experience.

Technical Skills: Knowledge of shipping, warehouse, and safety procedures. Some computer experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to multitask and possess organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints in a timely manner.
• Ability to communicate and understand English to the extent necessary to perform essential job functions.
